It has been revealed that the Islamic Rev.olutio.nary Gua.rd Corps has destroyed large parts of Iran’s natural environment to construct secret underground missile cities, including near Yazd, where massive facilities have been built beneath a granite mountain. This sheds light on the long-standing mystery surrounding the arrest, interrogation, and even death of many environmental activists over the past two decades: they were targeted not because they had uncovered missile activities, but because, without knowing it, they were working to protect wildlife in ecosystems that happened to overlap with covert military sites.
