در شرایطی که قوانین در ایران به جای محافظت از حقوق دگرباشان، آزار و مجازات‌شان را توجیه می‌کند، از هم‌میهنانم، خصوصا کسانی که به من اعتماد و علاقه دارند، می‌خواهم به محافظت و حمایت از آنها در جامعه بپردازند.

در ایران آزاد فردا، قانون، حقوق بنیادین برابر و امنیت همه شهروندان را تضمین خواهد کرد. جنسیت، قومیت، مذهب،‌ گرایش جنسی و... نه افراد را از حقوق بنیادین‌شان محروم خواهد کرد نه به گروهی برتری و تقدم حقوقی بر دیگر گروه‌ها خواهد بخشید.

‏In a situation in which laws in Iran justify the harassment and punishment of the LGBT community instead of protecting it, I ask my compatriots, especially those who trust and follow me, to defend and support this community.

‏In tomorrow’s free Iran, the law will guarantee fundamental freedoms and security for all citizens. Neither gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or other factors will deprive individuals of their fundamental rights or give superiority or legal preference to one group over another.
