جمهوری اسلامی در دوران علی خامنه‌ای، با دهه‌ها ماجراجویی منطقه‌ای، پافشاری بر پروژه هسته‌ای و حمایت از گروه‌های شبه‌نظامی، ایران را در معرض جنگ، تحریم، ویرانی اقتصادی و هزینه‌های سنگین انسانی قرار داد. اکنون نیز، با وجود تفاهم با ایالات متحده، نقض تعهدات و تداوم اقدامات نظامی تنش‌زا، بار دیگر آتش درگیری را به خاک ایران کشانده است. گویی فرماندهان نظامی باقی‌مانده، همانند رهبر از‌دست‌رفته‌شان، نه از ایران که از بقای خود دفاع می‌کنند؛ و بار دیگر، این مردم و سرزمین ایران‌اند که به سپر بلای سیاست‌های پرهزینه و ماجراجویانه آنان تبدیل شده‌اند.
During Ali Khamenei’s rule, the Islamic Republic pursued decades of regional adventurism, insisted on its nuclear program, and supported proxy militias, dragging Iran into war, crippling sanctions, economic devastation, and immense human suffering. Now, despite a memorandum of understanding with the United States, the regime’s military remnants have once again violated their commitments and continued provocative military actions, bringing the threat of war back onto Iranian soil. It is as if the country’s current military rulers, like their fallen leader before them, are using Iran itself as a shield for their own survival—leaving the Iranian people and their homeland to bear the consequences of their reckless policies once again.
