چند ماه از قتل‌عام دی‌ماه در ایران گذشته است؛ جنگی میان جمهوری اسلامی، آمریکا و اسرائیل درگرفت. اینترنتی که نزدیک به سه ماه قطع بود، حالا کم‌کم دارد وصل می‌شود و زمزمه‌های توافقی میان رژیم و آمریکا به گوش می‌رسد؛ توافقی که هنوز امکان تحقق و ابعادش در هاله‌ای از ابهام قرار دارد. هم‌زمان، گروه‌های مختلف اپوزیسیون سرگرم جدال، حذف معنوی و مقصر دانستن یکدیگرند. اما شاید در میان همه این آشوب‌ها، یک چیز بیش از هر چیز دیگر قطعی به نظر برسد: عادی شدن گرفتن جان شهروندان ایرانی به جرم مخالفت و خواستنِ تغییر.
Several months have passed since the massacre of last January. A war has broken out between the Islamic Republic, the United States, and Israel. The internet, which had been cut off for nearly three months, is slowly coming back online, while rumors of a possible agreement between the regime and the United States continue to circulate—an agreement whose prospects and implications remain shrouded in uncertainty. Meanwhile, different opposition groups are busy fighting one another, trying to morally discredit each other and assign blame. Yet amid all this chaos, one thing seems increasingly undeniable: the normalization of taking Iranian lives simply for opposing the regime and demanding change.
