امروز، سه‌شنبه ۶ مرداد ۱۴۰۵، جمهوری اسلامی حکم اعدام ابوالفضل سپاهی و امیرحسین صفری، دو تن از بازداشت‌شدگان اعتراضات دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴، را در میدان علیخانی اصفهان و در ملأعام اجرا کرد. این دو در پرونده موسوم به «میدان علیخانی» به اعدام محکوم شده بودند. اجرای علنی حکم در همان میدانی که اعتراضات در آن رخ داده بود، در حالی صورت گرفت که گزارش‌هایی از تجمع مردم برای جلوگیری از اعدام و برخورد نیروهای امنیتی با آنان نیز منتشر شده است.

Today, Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the Islamic Republic publicly executed Abolfazl Sepahi and Amirhossein Safari, two detainees from the December–January protests, in Alikhani Square in Isfahan. The two men had been sentenced to death in the case known as the “Alikhani Square” case. The executions were carried out in the same square where the protests had taken place, amid reports that people gathered to try to prevent the hangings and were confronted by security forces.
