Our monthly Global Affairs (GA) session last Wednesday featured Mana Neyestani (@neyestanimana) the exiled Iranian political cartoonist.

The session focused on the topic of “Arts, Politics, and Activism” and included a student testimonial, breakout group work, as well as the Q&A with our guest. Students, many of whom had studied cartoons of Mr. Neyestani in their English course, had the opportunity to discuss with him his career, artwork, and political views.

During his visit, Mr Neyestani also attended Global Politics and English classes, sat for an interview with the student newspaper OurMap, and joined students for lunch.
